If both people and animals are starving, then culling the herds is necessary. I am an animal lover and believe in protecting wildlife, but the people need food and there is not enough vegetation to feed all of the wildlife. Those who do not believe in Climate Change should have to live in those villages for awhile. We need to protect farmland as well as grasslands and forests. We don’t know when severe droughts like this will hit us. More grains should be planted to add to what we and the rest of the world will need. Deep wells need to be dug in these countries that do not have enough water for their populations and their livestock. We all must pool our resources to survive.
